Hello and welcome to the Official SMCWALL Website. My name is Sean McWall, and I developed this website to allow fans and customers to keep in contact and follow the latest news.
I come from an area within County Armagh, Northern Ireland. I spent many years studying Computers and graduated from College with a Degree in Computing and Mathematics along with another Degree in Cloud Computng specialising in Datacentre Operations.
I have always enjoyed programming and always enjoyed working with Linux and Web-Building. My programming knowledge also expands into machine programming and PLC programming such as Arduino and Raspberry Pis.
My career started off working as an IT System Support Administrator for a Bank based in London. I have learned that sometimes its best to keep what you love as a hobby, and not as a career. I still love working with computers and complex network systems, but IT can be a thankless and stressful job.
I now work as a Site Manager for a MEICA Engineering company. I prefer being outdoors and I also enjoy travelling all over Northern Ireland.
I joined YouTube in the early 2010s and always enjoyed watching documentaries on engineering, computing and gaming. In 2015 I planned on starting a YouTube Channel, but unfortunately I didn’t have the Money nor the space to have a gaming setup. I loved playing Minecraft and always wanted to do a YouTube series on it.
In the summer of 2017, I designed and built my own Computer Case using the tools from the factory I was working in during the summer break. I then bought and built all the parts to make my own Gaming PC. I still use the PC to this day, and it has even gained additional hardware through the years.
On the 15th April 2021, I decided it was the time to start my YouTube Channel. At the time, the game I loved playing was Space Engineers, so I decided it was going to be the first gaming series on the Channel. I always knew a new YouTube Channel would start off slow and gain subscribers slowly, but I was more interested in making content for people to enjoy.
In the start of 2025, my fiancée and I moved back to the countryside. Since then, I have gotten more into woodworking and Blacksmithing as a hobby. My time making content on YouTube has reduced, but I do enjoy the occasion of making videos whenever I can.
